This is one of the early women’s fragrances launched by Boucheron. It is more dramatic than Initial, highlighted by a floral Oriental tone.
Jaipur or “jewel” was inspired by a trip made by the company’s current president’s grandfather to Jaipur, a city whose reputation for precious stones was legendary. Thus, the fragrance was introduced in a jewel flacon. The original bottles are, of course, highly prized by collectors today.
Long recognized as makers of elegrant, luxurious jewelry Boucheron began in 1830 when the first store opened in Paris. It was not until 1988 that the first Boucheron fragrance was launched. Check Special Price!

| I LOVE this scent! I have worn it for years and still get many compliments on it. However, when this scent is “off” for someone, watch out! My best friend always complimented me on it and decided to get some for herself. I got a free bottle of Red and she had to hit the showers. It is a very unique scent and before you get it the first time, you should really make sure it is good for you. It REEKS on the wrong person!It smells great if it is the scent for you, though.
